Worth knowing about me as a person:

I was born as a child of summer in 1977 in the beautyful Mühlviertel in Upper Austria. I discovered my love to sports already as a child and the love has not gone until today. Beside sports my two sons, music and nature are the most important things to me.

Worth knowing about me as a Sportsman:

At the age of eight I started my athletic career in the swim club SV Gallneukirchen. Being 14 years old I switched  to sport climbing, before I made a short visit to martial arts at the age of 18.

In 1998 my passion for triathlon arose.  Beside winning different state and national championship titles on the sprint and olympic distance between 1999 and 2013 I also had some top results in other races. Notable highlights were starts at the Powerman events, TriStar (Monaco, Worms) and different 70.3 races (e.g. Monaco, Kraichgau, Rügen).

From 2006 to 2009 I competed in the German Bundesliga for SC Riederau.

Worth Knowing about me As a Coach:

Since 2001 I am coaching athletes (Duathlon and Triathlon) on different performance levels.

I have acquired my coaching experience and knowledge through my own athletic career and the work with coaches like Dr. Gerd Konwalinka (swimming), Thomas Bosnjak (running), Maximilian Karlsböck (running and cycling) and Marco Wolf (triathlon).
